Colour Frenzy Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Australia
Kim
never needs any coaxing to go for a walk or run. Bright and early Sunday morning
Kim, Shari and friend Kate entered and completed The Sunshine Coast Colour
Frenzy. Arriving at 7:00am at Kawana Lake, Sunshine Coast Stadium with a light
warm at 8:15am, then followed run/walk at 8:30am. The course was a 1.25km loop
track with multiple colour zones set up along the way and the best part is you
can do one, two, three or all four laps of the course, and there’s no timing or
pressure, so you can go like a bull out of the gate, or take your sweet time
and colour yourself silly.
The
Color Frenzy 5K is none other than the brightest, most fun 5K in the land. At
the Color Frenzy 5K the focus in not on how fast or how far you can run, what
type of exercise you enjoy, or if you’re an avid runner. Instead, they welcome
any and all participants looking for a colorful good time. Frenzy staff and
charity partners are also there to help make sure you get your share of the
colour goodness.
They
love to see happy dogs enjoying the Colour Frenzy fun and getting Colourful
too. Not to worry the colour is completely safe and brushes off easily. All
dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, on leash and good in crowd with
adults, children and other doggies.
The
foam section was a big hit. Shari was first hesitate on the first lap, but
loved it on lap two and three. By the end of lap four, Kim and Kate where twin
Smurfs.
Their
goal for the events in 2020 is to help all the amazing Animal Rescues across
Australia. It is something that the Colour Frenzy Team are passionate about.
They want to help support and give back to the many different rescues in
Australia who do so much for any and all animals
